Remaining Mindful While Stuck at Home

These past few months have been difficult for everyone as our lives have drastically changed. We went from being able to freely navigate around the world to being restricted to our own house. It became a new routine that was definitely not easy to get used to and that we are still working through which is what I will explore in this podcast.

A Morning Symphony

00:00 / 00:32

We all have a morning routine, or at least a few things that we do daily, that are, somewhat, unique to us. Hence, we are also surrounded by different sounds that are also part of those everyday activities, but oftentimes, because of the hurry or simply because we are used to it, we tend to hardly pay attention to them. If we were to listen carefully to some of our daily activities, what would it sound like? Well, here is a snapshot of my morning symphony.

Home is Argentina!

Last year, I was fortunate to meet a young man named Nathan who came from Argentina with his family to live here in Canada. Over the past few months, as we often chatted, we got to discuss the different environments and cultures in which we each grew up. For me, it's in a North American culture, and him, it's more in a South American culture, which happen to be quite different. The other day, I recorded a conversation that we had on the topic of home, and what was home for someone like my friend who had to move across continents a couple of times throughout is life.
